Thursday, July 24th, 2008RIP Heath Ledger… he really did go out in style. Outside of this picture, where you can kind of tell it’s him; I found it really difficult to identify it was him throughout the movie.
As far as the movie goes, it’s definately worth the 3+ hours of getting into the theatre and sitting through the actual movie. It’s a pretty dark film, even without the Joker’s great performance. People’s lives were threatened, tortured and killed throughout the movie with no end in sight. I enjoyed the suspense that was maintained as I didn’t feel the movie movies too quickly, nor too slowly at any given point. The only semi-disappointment was the ending on the two-face storyline.
